A living legend. Over 23 years Stevie Wonder had accumulated 12 Grammy Awards by the time he released I Just Called To Say I Love You. (He later added another 12!) Famously a sufferer of blindness, Wonder lost his sight as a baby. But this did not stop him developing his musical abilities.
The song was one of the sounds of the summer of 1984. Released in August, it reached Number 1 in September and stayed there for six weeks. It became the third biggest-selling single of the Eighties in the UK.
